Born in 1973 in a town called Erfurt situated within the former East part of Germany, I received my school education with a very different view of the world then most people of my age. My professional education took place within two different health and governmental systems which enhanced my ability to look at my surrounded environment critically and objectively.
After five years of working in Cardiology and Internal Medicine Intensive Care, it was time for travelling and gaining professional experiences in various nursing fields in different countries around the globe. I have been fortunate to work for the NHS in the West Midlands, did agency nursing and care home nursing in Northern Ireland and also been nursing for intensive care requiring patients as well as patients in need of general medicine nursing care in Belize, Central America.
After participating as a volunteer for environmental improvement projects in Belize, I have been offered to become a faculty member of St. Luke’s University, School of Medicine, Belize. I had the responsibility to develop a community medicine program for international students on one side and to assist the development of primary care provision and prevention programs within the south east of the country Belize. My work load included for example; HIV testing and counseling, pesticide testing for banana and citrus fruit farmers and the development of a health education program for the primary school curriculum along side being a team member of a very busy primary care centre with emergency night cover.
On return to Europe, I had decided to take my professional development further to be able to reach out to patients and deliver the best possible nursing care and a natural approach to health service provision to the highest quality achievable. Therefore, I found the possibility of becoming a practitioner of Complementary Medicine very attractive. Having worked within the allopathic way of medicine, promoted preventative medicine in a developing country and my steadily growing interest and belief manifestation towards complementary medicine made the decision very easy.
Over the past decade I studied PRP, Aromatherapy, Remedial Massage, Baby & Pregnancy Massage, Homotoxicology, Reiki, Hopi Ear Candling, Bioregulatory Medicine and Aesthetic Procedures. My professional background has been proven to be very useful and led me to undertake a Western Acupuncture training course with the B.A.W.M.A. I have registered my own business providing high quality nursing care which includes all therapies already learned and able to practice as well as running a clinic in Arnside, and opening a second clinic in Lancaster at 3-1-5 Health Club, where clients can receive high quality treatments in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
I have created a concrete holistic approach of treating medical/care problems with the great assistance of my steadily growing knowledge and experiences.
