Methylation Panel

We are excited to announce the availability of our Methylation Panel. This panel is an innovative genotypic and phenotypic assessment designed to offer insight into the critical biochemical methylation pathways.

Methylation is a chemical process that happens billions of times per second in every cell of the body. It turns genes on or off, regulates mood and hormones, enhances detoxification, and produces energy.

The Methylation Panel measures plasma levels of amino acids and metabolites involved in this pathway along with single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to give insight into genetic predispositions that affect how the pathways work.

The Methylation Panel measures plasma levels of amino acids and metabolites involved in this pathway along with single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to give insight into genetic predispositions that affect how the pathways work.

Because of its all-encompassing role in basic human physiology and epigenetics, defective methylation symptoms and their physiologic impact can be pervasive. The Methylation Panel offers valuable insight in patients with:

  • questionable detoxification (hormone therapy, alcohol, toxin exposure)
  • cancer risk
  • cardiovascular disease (non-coronary atherosclerosis, hypertension, coronary artery disease)
  • psychiatric and mood disorders (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression)
  • neurologic disorders (Parkinson’s disease, cognitive decline)
  • chronic fatigue

Client Testimonials

For the 1st time in a very long time I laughed and felt at ease ….. just what I needed ….. and was also wanting to say thank you to you! I’ve not felt this healthy or fit for years mentally and physically. Thank you

I’ve never really suffered with injuries in my sporting life, however picking up little niggles now & then, I suppose Father Time catches up with us all. However, incredible relief from an Achilles injury today and hopefully on the mend… I’ve been packing with ice but after expert consultation its heat treatment that will solve this one… many thanks to Claudia @ BioMed. Can I suggest that anyone who has an injury goes and see’s her – she really is an expert in her field of work.
