I’ve never really suffered with injuries in my sporting life, however picking up little niggles now & then, I suppose Father Time catches up with us all. However, incredible relief from an Achilles injury today and hopefully on the mend… I’ve been packing with ice but after expert consultation its heat treatment that will solve this one… many thanks to Claudia @ BioMed. Can I suggest that anyone who has an injury goes and see’s her – she really is an expert in her field of work.
Yoga is a gentle yet powerful way to manage chronic fatigue, providing a holistic approach to restoring energy and promoting relaxation. Chronic fatigue often leaves individuals feeling physically drained and mentally foggy, making high-intensity workouts unsuitable. Yoga, however, emphasises mindful movement and deep breathing, helping to reduce stress, increase circulation, and gently stimulate the body. Poses that focus on stretching and relaxation, such as Child’s Pose or Legs-Up-The-Wall, allow the body to release tension and reset, making them ideal for those dealing with persistent fatigue.
Regular practice of yoga can also support the nervous system, helping to reduce the stress response often associated with chronic fatigue. By encouraging better oxygen flow and calming the mind, yoga can enhance overall well-being and gradually build strength and flexibility. To explore yoga poses specifically designed for chronic fatigue, watch our YouTube video, “Yoga Poses for Chronic Fatigue.” This video guides you through a sequence of soothing and energising poses tailored to help you regain vitality and find balance in your daily life.
