I’ve never really suffered with injuries in my sporting life, however picking up little niggles now & then, I suppose Father Time catches up with us all. However, incredible relief from an Achilles injury today and hopefully on the mend… I’ve been packing with ice but after expert consultation its heat treatment that will solve this one… many thanks to Claudia @ BioMed. Can I suggest that anyone who has an injury goes and see’s her – she really is an expert in her field of work.
Yoga can be a powerful tool for alleviating lower back pain, offering gentle, targeted movements that help to stretch and strengthen muscles while reducing tension in the lower back region. Specific poses are highly recommended for those experiencing discomfort, as they can ease stiffness and improve flexibility without putting additional strain on the spine. Poses such as Child’s Pose, Cat-Cow, and Sphinx are particularly effective, as they target the muscles around the lumbar area and promote relaxation.
By incorporating these poses into a regular routine, many people find they can manage or reduce their lower back pain over time. Each movement allows for controlled stretching, encouraging blood flow and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
